Description

A quiet scene from Marjolein Bastin's Vera the Mouse series: Vera sits knitting with her basket of yarn within easy reach. The design is worked on evenweave by counting the threads, with cross stitch over two threads for the filled areas, long stitch for details such as the strands of wool, and backstitch for outlines and whiskers.

Everything you need for the stitching is in the kit; you only need a hoop or frame, small scissors and, once finished, a picture frame, which is not included. The shaded colours and the extra stitches make this a good step up for anyone who has already completed a few simpler designs.
