Boy with Apples - Aida

An old-fashioned scene: a boy in shorts and a straw hat rests against his stick, an apple in his hand and the harvest basket beside him. The soft blues and the red of the apples stand out against the pale fabric, much of which is left unstitched, so the work grows faster than the size suggests.

The kit holds everything needed to stitch, threads included; you only need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. It is worked in cross stitch with a few long stitches for the finer details, following a large-square chart that is easy to read even with little experience. A frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed or mounted on a board.
