Description

A lighthouse standing above the cliff as the sun sets over the sea: the path climbs through daises and orange flowers, and the warm evening light spreads across the water. The tall, narrow format makes the work easy to follow row by row, with french knots and long stitches used only for a few details.

Everything needed for stitching is in the kit, threads included; only a hoop or frame and a picture frame need to be bought separately, the first to keep the fabric taut, the second for finishing. The large-square chart and the clear colour blocks suit stitchers who are still fairly new to counted cross stitch, though the piece does take some patience.
