Description

A 1920s-style portrait: a direct gaze, a veiled hat, a feather boa and long gloves, worked in many shades of pink, grey and skin tone. The design is stitched on counted linen, usually over two threads, and the subtle colour changes in the face call for care: this is a project for stitchers with some experience.

The kit holds everything needed for the stitching itself; the frame shown in the photo is not included. You will also want a hoop or frame to keep the linen taut and a pair of small scissors. Given its size and subject, the finished piece is made to be framed and hung on the wall.
