Description

A quiet, romantic scene: two figures strolling by the water's edge, worked in soft blues, whites and sand tones that blend into one another. Everything needed to stitch it is in the kit, threads included; besides cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and a few long stitches for the dune grasses.

Linen with 12 threads per cm is usually worked over two threads, with one or two strands of stranded cotton depending on the effect you want; a hoop or frame to keep the fabric taut is handy and is not included. The frame shown in the photograph is not part of the kit either. Once finished, the piece can be washed, pressed from the back and framed.
