Description

A soft summer scene: two sisters resting among wild flowers, with plenty of subtle shading on skin, blonde hair and white dresses. The kit comes with everything needed to stitch the picture, and the threads arrive already sorted on an organiser so the right shade is easy to find.

Cross stitch is worked over two fabric threads, giving 5.2 stitches per cm, usually with two strands of stranded cotton; a few details are finished in long stitch. Hoop and frame are not included: because of the size, a large hoop or a scroll frame works best. It is a substantial project, made to be framed once finished.
