Spring Mood

A cat surrounded by spring colours, to work in counted cross stitch following the chart supplied. The 16-count Aida has a fine weave, so the stitches come out small and crisp, and the palette of 35 shades allows soft blending on the fur and the flowers: a project better suited to stitchers with some cross stitch practice.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit, threads and needle included; you will also want a hoop or frame, small scissors and good light. The ice-blue background stays visible around the design and keeps the subject bright. Once finished, the piece can be framed, with or without glass, or made up into a cushion.
