Cathoween

A Halloween scene to work in half cross stitch: the cat stands out against the full moon while a witch crosses the sky and bats fly over the woods. The colour printing guides every stitch, so there is no chart to follow and no threads to count: you simply fill in each area following the colours printed on the canvas.

Threads are not included and should be chosen separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, along with a round-pointed tapestry needle. The Penelope canvas is firm and can be stitched in the hand, though a scroll frame keeps the tension even. Once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a cushion for autumn decorating.
