Dog et fleurs

The design is already printed in colour on the canvas: there is no counting, you simply stitch over the printed areas. Penelope canvas is woven with double threads, so you can work half cross stitch over each pair or split them for petit point, which gives finer detail in the dog's face and in the daisies.

This is the printed canvas on its own: threads are not included and are chosen separately, usually tapestry wool matched to the printed colours. You will also need a blunt tapestry needle and, if you prefer working with tension, a frame. Given its size it is a substantial project, ideal for framing once finished (frame not included).
