Description

Tropical foliage in several shades of green, designed to become the front of a cushion. The design is already printed in colour on the large-hole canvas: there is no counting, you simply follow the colour under the needle, and the wide holes make the stitching move along easily, even for those who are new to finer fabrics.

The kit holds everything needed for the embroidery itself, but not the backing fabric, the pad or the finishing materials: once the stitching is done you will need a coordinating fabric for the back, a zip if you like, and a cushion pad of the right size. Half cross stitch is worked with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way; a frame helps keep the canvas square.
