Foliage

A design of stylised leaves in greens and ivory, meant to become the front of a square cushion. The design is already printed on the canvas, so there is no counting: you simply stitch colour by colour. The large holes and the fairly thick acrylic yarns make the work grow quickly, which suits anyone trying needlepoint for the first time.

The kit takes you to the end of the stitching, but the backing fabric and the finishing materials are not included and need to be bought separately. Once stitched, block the canvas, sew on the backing and insert the pad; the leafy panel can also simply be framed.
