The design is already printed in colour on the Penelope canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply follow the printed shades. The paired threads of Penelope canvas let you work in half cross stitch and, by splitting the pairs, in petit point for the finer details.

Threads are not included: choose them separately in tapestry wool or cotton to match the printed colours, along with a blunt tapestry needle. Once finished, the piece can be stretched and framed or made up into a cushion.
