Description

A scarecrow in Halloween mood, printed in colour on Penelope canvas: there is no chart to count, you simply stitch over the design already printed on the fabric. The orange border frames the scene, and the tall format suits a framed picture or a cushion front.

This is the canvas on its own: threads are not included. Tapestry wool (or stranded cotton) chosen to match the printed colours works well, together with a size 20-22 tapestry needle. Half cross stitch is worked with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way and covers large areas quickly; a frame helps keep the canvas square while you stitch.
