A portrait of a dog enjoying the sun on a garden bench, with roses behind it. The design is already printed in colour on the canvas, so there is no counting involved: you simply stitch within the printed areas. Penelope canvas has double threads and is worked in half cross stitch with tapestry wool, holding its shape well even on a piece this size.

Threads are not included: choose them to match the printed colours, together with a blunt tapestry needle and, if you like working on a frame, a stretcher. Once finished, the piece can be framed as a picture or made up into a cushion. The frame shown in the photo is not included.
