Description

A large stylised sunflower on a black ground surrounded by leafy scrolls, printed in colour on the canvas: the whole surface is covered in needlepoint simply by following the printed shades, with no counting involved. The 40 cm square format suits a cushion front, but it also works as a panel to frame.

This is the canvas only: threads and needle are not included, nor is the backing fabric or anything needed to make up the cushion. Tapestry wool or acrylic yarn gives the best coverage on Penelope canvas; the yellows, ochres, greens and black can be matched straight off the print. A frame is useful to keep the canvas taut.
