Beach Shells Grey

Beach Shells Grey belongs to Cotton Beach, the Tilda collection inspired by the coast, shells, coral reefs and sea anemones. The print is dense and medium in scale: striped and dotted shells set among slender sprigs, all in taupe grey on a cream ground. As a neutral, it works beautifully as the linking fabric between the brighter prints in the range.

Use it for quilt blocks, bag linings, lavender sachets, curtains and summer sewing; with no strong directional layout, it cuts with little waste. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
