Flowertangle Persimmon

Flowertangle Persimmon belongs to Bloomsville, the Tilda summer collection built on bright colours and flowers in full bloom. Blossoms, buds and foliage twine together with no empty space over a warm orange ground: a close, busy repeat that still reads well when cut into small pieces, so it works just as happily in quilt blocks as in a bag, an apron or the lining of a pouch.

The orange calls for confident partners: the Abloom blenders from the same collection, or solids picked from the greens and blues in the print. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For borders and long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
