My Neighborhood Moss

My Neighborhood belongs to Hometown, the Tilda collection built around the love of home and community: small houses, gardens and trees repeat in a dense, even tone-on-tone print that reads almost as a moss green solid from a distance. That makes it an easy fabric to use as a background or as a quiet filler between the larger prints in the collection.

It works nicely in small blocks, borders and quilt backings, and just as well for cushions, pouches, bags and autumn decorations. The design has no strong directional layout, so cutting is straightforward. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
