Here the olive branches cover the whole surface evenly, which makes this a blender: ideal for filling blocks, for borders and backings, where it supports the larger prints instead of competing with them.

The small, non-directional motif is easy to cut and works just as well on little projects such as pot holders, pouches, cushions and dolls. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. For long strips or a quilt back, choose one of the larger cuts.
