Pernille Sand

Pernille Sand belongs to Sunday Brunch, the softly coloured vintage Tilda collection made for dreamy spring quilts and summerhouse style. The ivory and blue roses are spaced evenly across the warm sand ground, so the print still reads well in small pieces and gives blocks and appliqué a neutral background that is far from dull.

Use it for quilts, cushions, bags, dolls and curtains; it sits easily next to the solids and the smaller prints of the same collection. For a quilt you will also need backing fabric, wadding and fabric for the binding. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
