Scallop Shell Coral

Scallop Shell Coral belongs to Cotton Beach, the Tilda collection inspired by the coast, shells, coral reefs and sea anemones. The print is dense and symmetrical, almost a seaside damask: pale shells rise out of a swirl of pink foliage on a coral ground. The scale is generous, so it shows at its best over larger surfaces – big blocks, cushion covers, bags and curtains.

It sits easily alongside the other fabrics in the collection, from tiny prints to stripes, which soften the intensity of the red. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or borders, choose one of the larger cuts.
