Sunday Brunch Ginger

Sunday Brunch Ginger tells the story of a lazy Sunday in the garden: an open parasol, a gramophone, cakes and glasses on the table, a cat curled up beside the deckchairs. The figures are drawn in pale blue, green and powder pink on a warm ginger ground, with the vintage summerhouse feel that runs through Tone Finnanger's whole collection.

This is a large-scale print with a repeating scene, so it works best in generous pieces – the centre blocks of a quilt, the back of a cushion, a bag or a curtain, where the whole picture can be seen. Pair it with the small florals and dots of the same collection to calm the orange. Pre-wash before cutting to avoid surprises with shrinkage.
