Village Life brings together vintage-inspired prints that recall old wallpapers and pretty dresses of the past: roses, leafy wreaths and small busy motifs, like the red and blue print on cream that wraps the pack. Ten-inch squares are the handiest size for simple blocks, since they cut straight down into smaller squares, triangles or strips with very little waste.
Forty pieces give you enough for a block quilt, a set of cushions or plenty of small sewing projects. To finish a quilt you will also need backing fabric, wadding and fabric for the binding. Pre-wash the squares before sewing so that any shrinkage happens beforehand.
