Woven Stripe Blue

Woven Stripe Blue is one of the yarn-dyed wovens in the Creating Memories collection: the stripe is woven rather than printed, so it looks the same on both sides – handy whenever the reverse shows, as in lined bags, drawstring pouches or turned-back hems. The stripes are fine and even, so they still read well in small pieces.

This is a useful supporting fabric: it calms down florals, works as a background in blocks, and makes neat borders, binding or cushion backs. It belongs to the summer range, designed to sit alongside the other fabrics in the same colour group. Pre-wash before cutting, since shrinkage in a woven stripe shows up most on long strips.
