The design comes from an original painting by Lucy Pittaway and carries her bright, naive style into stitching: the camper van parked along the path, sheep grazing among the daisies, hills rolling away towards the mountains. It is worked in counted cross stitch following the chart, with a few lines of back stitch to outline the details.
The evenweave fabric is not printed, so the stitches are counted from the chart: a good choice if you have already finished a cross stitch picture or two. A hoop or frame and a sharp pair of embroidery scissors are useful additions. The frame is not included: the square finished piece suits a mount and frame, or a cushion front.
