A sea turtle suspended in the water, its shell in deep blue with orange highlights on the flippers, above a reef of pink, purple and orange corals. The wide palette and the shaded water make this an engaging piece for stitchers with a little experience, while the stitching itself stays manageable.
The kit holds everything needed to stitch the design, but hoop and frame are not included: 27 count evenweave is usually worked over two threads with two strands of stranded cotton, giving a coverage similar to 14 count Aida. Leave a generous margin of fabric around the design if you plan to frame the finished piece.
