A quiet winter scene: a robin on a rowan branch, red berries glowing against the snow and a wooden gate leading out to the fields. The design is worked by counting the threads on evenweave fabric, usually over two threads, with a few half cross stitches and long stitches for the finer twigs.
Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, threads included; you will still want a hoop or frame, small scissors and, at the end, a frame for the picture, which is not included. The twenty-six shades and the very pale sky and snow areas call for careful chart reading, so this one suits stitchers with a little experience behind them.
