Description

An Egyptian-inspired design dominated by the face of Tutankhamun, in blended tones of gold, ochre and turquoise. The work is stitched over the counted threads of the fabric: alongside cross stitch there is long stitch for the elongated areas and back stitch for outlines and the details of the face.

This is a sizeable piece with a long colour list, so a hoop or frame and good lighting help in telling the shades apart. A frame is not included: once finished, the panel can be professionally mounted, with or without a mount board, to show off the softly blended background.
