A corner of a country garden: the front door framed by flowering jasmine, pale curtains glimpsed inside, a folding chair set among hydrangeas, roses and lupins. The many shades of green and the tiny white blossoms call for careful chart reading, so this project suits stitchers who have already completed a counted piece or two.
Linen with 12 threads per cm is usually worked over two threads, giving six stitches per centimetre; a hoop or frame helps keep the tension even. The threads come already sorted on the organiser, so there is no hunting for numbers at each colour change. The frame is not included: given its size, the finished piece looks best framed with a pale mount.
