A micey sweet cupcake

A kitchen scene with two mice and a cupcake topped with pink icing: the mother in her apron and bow, the little one sitting at the table, surrounded by pans, teapots and sweets lined up on the shelves. The chart is printed with large squares, which makes it easy to follow even with little experience of counted cross stitch.

The design is worked on Aida, where the squares are clearly visible and the stitches come out even without counting threads. Alongside the cross stitch there are a few half cross stitches, long stitches and back stitch outlines, plus ribbon and pearls for the finishing touches. The frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
