The dancer

A seated ballerina tying her pointe shoes, her tutu built up from many shades of white, pink and grey: a design with subtle colour transitions that asks for a little practice in following a printed canvas and changing thread often. The Pénélope antique canvas is firm and printed in colour, so there is no counting involved — you stitch straight over the design.

Threads and needle are not included. The required materials list shows the DMC Soft Cotton colours used for this model, which can be added to the cart in one go; a blunt-tipped tapestry needle is also needed. Once finished, the piece can be stretched and framed; the frame is not included.
