Poppy Seed Honey is one of the Tilda basics: a very small print of pale dots scattered irregularly over a warm honey yellow. From a distance it reads almost as a textured solid, which makes it the fabric to reach for when the larger prints in a collection need some breathing space.
Use it for the surrounding blocks of a quilt, for linings, narrow borders and small appliqué shapes; it also works well for doll bodies and sewn accessories. The closely woven cotton cuts and stitches without fraying much. Pre-wash before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sit down at the machine; if you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
