Woven Polkadot Blue

Woven Polkadot Blue is part of Creating Memories, the Tilda range of small-patterned fabrics grouped by season: these blue dots on a sand ground belong to the summer palette. Because the design is woven rather than printed, it reads almost the same on the reverse and the fabric has a slightly more rustic handle than a printed quilting cotton.

The small, even pattern makes it a useful bridge between larger prints, and a good choice for borders, cushion backs, drawstring bags, doll clothes and bag linings. Pre-wash before cutting, as the shrinkage is noticeable. If you need long strips without joins, choose one of the larger cuts.
