Tipsy Teal

Tipsy Teal is one of the blenders in Sunday Brunch, the collection Tone Finnanger designed for spring and summer in soft, vintage-leaning colours. The print is small and evenly scattered – yellow flowers and little leaves on a teal ground – so it can be cut in any direction without worrying about the pattern repeat, and it works well in small blocks, in borders and as a quiet background beside the larger prints of the collection.

It is just as useful for everyday sewing: drawstring bags, pillowcases, aprons, clothes for Tilda dolls and bag linings. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
