Description

A lion family drawn by Hannah Dale, with the cubs clambering over their mother. The fabric already carries a softly speckled printed background, so only the animals are stitched: full cross stitches for the fur, backstitch for the finer details of the faces.

The stranded cottons come sorted by colour on a card organiser, so you can start straight away. With so many shades blending together, a hoop or frame and good light make the work easier. A picture frame is not included, so the finished piece can be taken to a framer or mounted on a stretcher or in an embroidery hoop.
