Description

A high-heeled shoe drawn like a peacock, with swirls, stylised feathers and flowering stems spreading around it in bright colours. It belongs to Sally King's shoe series and suits anyone looking for a graphic, contemporary subject rather than a traditional cross stitch theme.

The design is counted on blocked fabric: full crosses fill the shape, while backstitch outlines keep the fine scrolls crisp. The threads come already sorted by colour, so you can start straight away; you will just need a hoop or frame and small scissors.
