A Halloween card to stitch and send: Margaret Sherry's mice whizz across the night sky on a broomstick, complete with pointed hat and pumpkin. The navy fabric sets off the pale shades of the stitching, the gold lettering and the little star sequins.
Everything you need is in the kit, card and envelope included: once the stitching is done, trim the fabric and mount it in the window of the triple-fold card. All you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a mini hoop. The small size works up in a couple of evenings, and the finished piece can also be framed or hung as a decoration.
