Description

A Marjolein Bastin design: strawberry plants full of ripe fruit spill out of a stack of terracotta pots, while two chickadees settle among the leaves, one caught in flight with its wings spread. The watercolour feel comes from the many shaded colours and from the back-stitched outlines that pick out beaks, stalks and tendrils.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit; you will want to add a hoop or frame and small scissors, and the picture frame is not included. The design is worked from the chart, printed here with large squares so the shaded areas stay easy to read. A project best suited to stitchers with some experience behind them.
