Description

A bunch of brightly coloured pansies resting on a decorated box and a stack of old books: a Marjolein Bastin design, with the soft shading and colour changes of her watercolours. It is worked on evenweave fabric from the chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton for the cross stitches and one strand for the back stitch that outlines petals and edges.

The long colour list and the french knots make this a project for stitchers with some experience. Everything needed to stitch is in the kit; a frame is not included, nor are hoop and scissors. Once finished, the panel looks well framed behind a pale mount.
