Tea Party

A panel of little squares devoted to teatime, with a flowered teapot and cups, cakes, fruit and spices arranged as if on a checked tablecloth. It is worked in counted cross stitch on the evenweave fabric supplied, with back stitch for the outlines, a few long stitches and french knots for the smallest details: all explained in the instructions, though some stitching experience helps.

Everything needed to stitch the design is in the kit; the frame is not included, and a hoop and scissors are worth having to hand. Once finished, it makes a decorative picture for a kitchen or dining room, to frame or to mount on a table runner.
