Description

An autumn portrait: a girl with wavy hair crowned by yellow and orange leaves and small white flowers, while more leaves drift across the soft blue background. Skin and hair are shaded with many close tones, so good light helps, and it is worth ticking off areas on the chart as you go.

The design is worked in cross stitch with back stitch outlines and a few touches of gold metallic thread that catch the light on the leaves. A hoop or frame, small scissors and a picture frame for mounting are not included. Once finished, it makes a handsome framed piece for a hallway or bedroom.
