Description

A romantic portrait in which the wavy hair and the petals fill the whole surface: it is worked in counted cross stitch following the chart, with back stitch to outline the flowers and the features of the face. The gold metallic threads add a little shine to the flower crown and the necklace.

The cotton and modal evenweave is soft with a slight sheen; stitch over two threads with one strand of stranded cotton, and a hoop or frame helps to keep the tension even. The yarn organizer keeps the many colours in order. The frame is not included: once finished, wash the work, press it from the back and lace it over board before framing.
