Pernille Yellow

Pernille Yellow belongs to Sunday Brunch, the softly coloured vintage Tilda collection made for spring sewing and for that summerhouse look. Large pink and cream roses and peonies are spread over a warm mustard yellow ground, with blue and sage leaves adding depth to the print.

This medium-scale floral works well in the larger blocks of a quilt, in borders, cushions and bags, and also in light garments and aprons. It sits easily next to the other prints in the collection, from tiny florals to checks and stripes. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; if you need long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
