Solid Aqua

Solid Aqua is one of the Tilda solids, made to go with the printed collections: a full, bright aqua green with no pattern, the kind of fabric that lets quilt blocks breathe and brings order to a mix of busy prints. Use it for backgrounds, borders, the back of a cushion, linings and the plain parts of bags and dolls.

The cotton is firm and medium weight, easy to rotary cut and to sew by machine. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or large background pieces, choose one of the bigger cuts, up to 300 cm across the full width of the bolt.
