Village Teal

Village Teal belongs to Village Life, the Tilda collection inspired by old wallpapers and the quiet pace of a small village. The print tells a whole story, with cottages, fenced gardens, autumn trees and a dog or two out for a walk, so it shows best where the fabric stays wide: large quilt blocks, cushion backs, bags, aprons or a simple hanging panel.

Because the design runs one way, check the direction before cutting and allow a little extra margin. It pairs easily with solids and with the smaller prints of the collection, in rust, ochre and green tones. Pre-washing before cutting avoids surprises once the piece is sewn.
