Abloom Plum

Abloom Plum belongs to Bloomsville, the bright summer collection from Tilda: large blooms and flowering sprigs in pale blue stand out against a fuchsia ground, for a lively print with a hint of chinoiserie. It is one of the Abloom blenders, designed to sit alongside the collection's feature prints, though the drawing is dense enough to work on its own.

It is an easy fabric for quilt blocks, contrast linings, cushions, bags and pouches, as well as for the familiar Tilda softies and decorations. It mixes with the other Abloom blenders and with the pinks, greens and blues of the collection. Pre-wash the cut before sewing, so any shrinkage happens before assembly; for long strips, choose one of the larger cuts.
