My Neighborhood Lilac

My Neighborhood belongs to Hometown, the Tilda collection built around home and community: a whole little village drawn across the fabric, with houses, gardens, trees and birds. The print is tone on tone, pale lilac on purple, so it reads almost like a solid once it is cut into small pieces and like a landscape when it stays whole.

It works well as a background fabric in quilt blocks, for cushion backs, bags, pouches and linings, and sits easily next to the other autumnal prints in the collection. Pre-wash before cutting so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew; choose one of the larger cuts if you need long strips.
