Tilda Doll Fabric - Stone

This is the plain cotton Tilda makes for doll bodies: a firm, close weave with a smooth surface, in a taupe grey that suits angels, soft animals and any character where a non-realistic skin tone is wanted. With no print at all, it also works as a quiet background in patchwork or for linings and small details.

The cut includes the fabric only: to finish a doll you also need stuffing, thread, a pattern and, if the design calls for them, face colours and fabrics for the clothes. Pre-wash before cutting, since shrinkage is noticeable, and press on the wrong side before tracing the pattern pieces.
