Tipsy Sand

Tipsy Sand is one of the blenders in Sunday Brunch, the softly coloured vintage Tilda collection made for dreamy spring quilts and summerhouse style. The print is small and evenly scattered, with tiny flowers and leaves on a warm sand ground, so it works as a quiet background next to the larger florals of the collection.

That makes it handy for the small pieces in a block, for borders, cushion backs and clothes for Tilda dolls, where big prints would be lost. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so that the slight shrinkage happens before you sew. If you need long strips or larger areas, choose one of the bigger cuts.
