Applegarden Plum

Applegarden Plum belongs to Hometown, the Tilda collection built around the love of home and neighbourhood: houses, gardens and small communities in autumn and winter colours. This print is a close-set orchard, with pale trunks repeating in neat rows and canopies dotted with apples; the scale is small, so it reads almost as a textured background.

It is an easy fabric for the small pieces of a patchwork top, for block backings, bag linings and pouches, and also for Tilda doll clothes and bodies. It sits happily next to the dots and solids of the same collection. Pre-wash the fabric before cutting, so the slight shrinkage happens before you sew.
